The Worst Sequels?

I have to say, I pretty much agree with this whole list of the "Top 10 Worst Movie Sequels."  In short, this list is about sequels to movies that would have been better off not been made.  This list is not the complete list of worst sequels, of course, but it is pretty close.  Blues Brothers 2000?  It still makes me shudder.

Another Star Wars Post

These will probably get more frequent as the days and years go by until Episode VII hits the theatres.  But since it's the pre-eminent, iconic creation from my childhood, get used to it.

Anyways, with the reported return of Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford for the next Star Wars movie set for release in 2015, the topic for this post is are the original Star Wars actors too old to be playing their original characters?

NHLPA Agree to NHL Realignment

The National Hockey League's Players Association has ratified the NHL's Board of Governor's plan of realignment.  The Detroit Red Wings and Columbus Blue Jackets will switch to the Eastern Conference, while the Winnipeg Jets finally goes to the West.

Justin Bieber Tries to Act Tough

I'll admit it.  I don't like Justin Bieber.  Say what you want about his throngs of fans and records sold (which really isn't that many) he contributes not one iota to musical history or any contribution of significance.  He will hold as much a legacy in music as the Backstreet Boys or Manudo.  Remember them?  Don't worry not many people do.  I mean how many bubblegum singers of the sixties can you remember?

So it gave me a hardy laugh when I saw this video from TMZ showing little Bieb hiding behind his bodyguards "trying" to get to a photo tog who insulted him after he and his bodyguards quickly stormed past him to a waiting SUV.

You just know his bodyguards were snickering to themselves, "Yeah, sure Biebs," when Bieber most assuredly went off at the mouth inside the safety of his SUV, saying how he would have did "whatever" to the guy who I'm sure outweighed him by about 200 pounds.

This is why someone launched a water bottle at your head, you little dweeb.  Well, that and you suck.

Leia Returns

Carrie Fisher has confirmed that she will reprise her role as Princess Leia Organa in the upcoming, as of yet untitled Star Wars: Episode VII film set to be released in 2015.
Mark Hamill has said that although he has been approached by the film-makers, about reprising his role as Luke Skywalker, no contracts have been signed, although he is interested.

As was earlier reported in several blogs and entertainment programs, Harrison Ford is, perhaps, close to agreeing to reprise his iconic role as Han Solo.  IGN has reported that it's already a done deal.
There's also reports of a spin-off of the Han Solo  and Yoda characters and Ewan McGregor has stated he wants to do an Obi-Wan Kenobi spin-off as well.  The Solo spin-off is reportedly to include Boba Fett and  the genesis of the famous animosity between the two.

Super Cafe

If you haven't visited the most supremely awesome movie parody site, How It Should Have Ended, then treat yourself to some funny animated takes on how movies "should have ended."  They take regular movies and show the loopholes in the plot and how logic dictates how it really should have ended.
They do Star Wars, Star Trek, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Looper, Lord of the Rings, Alien, The Hunger Games and just about every other popular film of the last 30 or so years.

But the funniest stuff is what they call "Super Cafe."  Simply put, it's Superman and Batman sitting in a diner drinking coffee and ragging on each other.  Actually I've yet to see Superman drink any coffee, but they are hilarious.  Other superheroes make regular appearances (I think it's only superheroes that have been immortalized in movies) and there's even one cultural icon that appears who argues with Supes and Bats whether he is a real superhero or not.  You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it.
Here are the best of the best:
