Dennis Farina Dead at 69

Dennis Farina, known for roles in Get Shorty with John Travolta, Midnight Run with Robert DeNiro, Crime Story from the mid-eighties and more recently Law & Order, has died at 69.

George Lucas Receives Honor from President Obama

Star Wars creator George Lucas has received the National Medal of Arts and National Humanities from President Obama for his advancement of special effects in movies with his Industrial Light and Magic (ILM) studios which led to the creation of Pixar.
